When a buyer messages your Page and waits, they often buy from the next Page instead. There are three ways to reply automatically: Meta's free auto reply, keyword bots, and an AI agent that reads your catalog. This guide shows how to set up each one and when each is enough.

1Option 1: Meta's free auto reply

Meta Business Suite can send one fixed greeting to everyone who messages your Page for the first time. It costs nothing and takes two minutes.

  1. On a computer, open Meta Business Suite at business.facebook.com and choose your Page.
  2. Open Inbox, then Automations.
  3. Click Create automation, then choose Auto reply.
  4. Write your greeting and follow the on-screen steps. Ready-made texts are in our message samples guide.
  5. Make sure its Status toggle is on, then message your Page from another account to test it.
TipUnder the same Create automation you can also set an Away message for after hours, and Frequently asked questions that show as buttons.

Where the free reply falls short

  • Everyone gets the same message, whatever they asked.
  • It can't tell a buyer the price, size or stock of the product in their screenshot.
  • It can't take the order, so someone still has to collect the name, phone and address.
  • It does not answer comments on your posts in context.

2Option 2: keyword bots

Flow builders reply when a message contains a word you chose, such as “price” or “দাম”. They work well for fixed menus. But buyers write “koto”, “dam koto”, “price plz” or just send a photo, so you end up maintaining long keyword lists, and anything unexpected gets no useful answer.

3Option 3: an AI that answers from your catalog

An AI sales agent reads the question the way a person would. OmniConva answers in Bangla, Banglish or English from your own products, prices and rules, recognises a product from a photo, and writes the cash-on-delivery order in the chat. When it isn't sure, it hands the chat to your team instead of guessing.

  1. Create a free account; the free plan includes 100 AI credits a month.
  2. Connect your Facebook Page with Facebook login.
  3. Add your products by CSV, or connect WooCommerce.
  4. Turn on AI replies and send your Page a test message. See getting started.
